Follow our journey as we run. The finish line: a half marathon. Some of us have already finished a full marathon, and some of us are proud just get a foot out on the pavement. It's not about being the best or the fastest, its just about us, our friends, and a pair of running shoes.

I run there for I hurt

So I have done the one thing I said I would never do. I have started running. It has been one week now and it has been the most painful week of my life. But I gave made a breakthrough. I ran 1.26 miles straight without stopping. It may not seem like a lot for the seasoned runners but it's huge for me. And it's left me craving more. So I guess it's true running is addictive.

  4. Hi Renee!
So happy to see you here. :) Way to go, girl! Here's the link to the programI mentioned to you - " Couch to 5K" - Scratch that. Won't let me paste the link. :/ But, if you use the google-machine it should pop right up. I like one of the opening statements. "Too many people have been turned off of running simply by trying to start off too fast. Their bodies rebel...." No shame in your distance! That's great. :D
